Although walk-in clients will be seen when necessary, appointments are preferred. Please call and schedule an appointment to help avoid any unnecessary long waits. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority followed by patients with previously scheduled appointments.
If you know that you’re running late for your appointment, please call to let us know. If you are more than 10 minutes late, you may be asked to reschedule. Appointments that arrive on time will be seen first. Late arrival may result in lengthy wait times.
We kindly request at least 24 hours notice from all clients if they need to reschedule or cancel their appointments. In the event that a client cancels or misses their scheduled appointments without notice, they may be asked to put down a deposit to hold future appointment times.
We understand that work schedules don’t always allow for you to have time to come in for an appointment. To help with this, we offer drop off appointments during the week. All drop offs are subject to a dayboard fee to cover the cost of supplies and the care that your pet will receive while here. Availability varies from day to day, depending on how full our kennels are. Please call in advance to schedule.
Surgery Appointment Policies
We require a $50 deposit to reserve a surgery appointment. The deposit will apply towards the balance of the procedure on the day of surgery. In the event that you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, we require a minimum of 72 hours notice in order to retain your deposit.
For the safety of our patients, all surgeries are required to have bloodwork done prior to any anesthesia procedure. This allows us to address any medical concerns prior to sedation. We highly recommend that this labwork be done at least a few days prior to surgery and can be scheduled when booking your surgery appointment.
Patient Arrival Policy
For your protection and that of other clients and patients, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms. All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier. Leashes are available in the front lobby that you are welcome to use if needed. We also have cardboard cat carriers available for you to have for a small fee. If you need assistance getting your pet to or from the car, just ask! We’re more than happy to help.
Visiting the vet shouldn’t be scary! We want your pets to enjoy seeing us as much as we enjoy seeing them! If your pet is anxious about coming to the clinic, please let us know when you call to schedule your appointment if your pet experiences anxiety when coming to the clinic. There are many things that we can do to ensure that your visit to the clinic is as stress free as possible for both you and your pets.
Please allow at least 24 hours for all of your pets’ refills. This gives our doctors and technicians time to review, approve and fill the prescriptions. If you need a prescription filled to pick up on the same day, a $10 fee will be added to your invoice.
For compounded medications, please allow 5-7 days for these to be filled. Most of these medications are special ordered specifically for your pet. To help cut down on shipping fees, we place orders for compounded medications on Tuesdays. If you need something rushed to you, there will be a fee of $10 added to your invoice to cover the shipping fees.
We also have a home delivery program! With VetSource, you can your pets’ prescriptions delivered right to your door within a few days! Customizable auto-ship options mean you don’t even have to remember to request your pet’s refills- they just show up at your house on the day that you want them to!
